Connectors

Connect external services (Dropbox, Gmail, Google Drive) so your bot can read files and email context during conversations.

Available connectors

- Dropbox, Gmail, and Google Drive are available today.

- SharePoint and Microsoft Teams are available for Microsoft 365 workspaces.

- Google Calendar and Outlook are coming next.

Connect Dropbox
  1. Open a bot workspace → Connectors tab.
  2. Click Connect Dropbox.
  3. Authorize Raian in Dropbox.
  4. Select the folders/files the bot can access.
  5. Save the selection and confirm status.

Connect Gmail

Gmail access uses the Gmail modify scope to enable search and read tools (plus basic profile scopes).

  1. Open a bot workspace → Connectors tab.
  2. Click Connect Gmail.
  3. Authorize Raian in Google.
  4. Confirm the Gmail connector shows as connected.
Connect Google Drive

Google Drive access uses the drive.file scope and is limited to the files you pick in the Google Picker (plus basic profile scopes).

Files larger than 10MB are skipped when selecting or fetching content.

Spreadsheets (.xlsx, .csv, Google Sheets) are converted to JSON before the bot reads them.

  1. Open a bot workspace → Connectors tab.
  2. Click Connect Google Drive.
  3. Authorize Raian in Google.
  4. Select files in the Google Picker.
  5. Confirm the Google Drive connector shows as connected.
Connect SharePoint

SharePoint access uses Microsoft Graph permissions for sites, files, and profile data.

  1. Open a bot workspace → Connectors tab.
  2. Click Connect SharePoint.
  3. Authorize Raian in Microsoft.
  4. Confirm the SharePoint connector shows as connected.
Connect Microsoft Teams

Teams access uses Microsoft Graph permissions for chat and channel messages.

  1. Open a bot workspace → Connectors tab.
  2. Click Connect Microsoft Teams.
  3. Authorize Raian in Microsoft.
  4. Confirm the Teams connector shows as connected.
Permissions & safety

- Dropbox access is read-only. Raian can search and fetch file content from the folders/files you select.

- Gmail access is limited to the tools enabled for the connector and uses your OAuth scopes.

- Google Drive access is limited to the files you select in the Google Picker.

- Google Drive files larger than 10MB are skipped during selection and fetch.

- Google Drive spreadsheets are converted to JSON for readability.

- SharePoint access is read-only and uses the SharePoint connector tools.

- Microsoft Teams access is read-only and uses the Teams connector tools.

- Disconnect the connector at any time from the Connectors tab.

- Limit the bot to specific folders/files using the scope selector in the Connectors tab.
